History

October 1980

Mr. Hiroshi Nishiwaki incorporates Techno Roll with capital of 10 million yen at Takaishi City, Osaka. Techno Roll concludes a technical cooperation agreement with JOMAC INC., from the United States, and begins manufacture and sale of the resin roller “Ryno” for high quality printing.

August 1982

The company relocates to Izumi City, Osaka, expanding production and sales.

April 1986

Techno Roll develops the self-adhesive rubber “Clean Dash” as a dust removing roller contributing to increase yield in the metal printing industry.

April 1989

Established the Tokyo branch of Techno Roll in Kawagoe City, Saitama.

October 1989

Techno Roll increases in capital to 15 million yen. Develops and manufactures the UV printing roller “TRUST UV” and automatic dust removing device “DUST HUNTER”.

July 1990

Techno Roll develops the special dampening sleeve “Water Sleeve” in cooperation with JOMAC INC. and Nichiyo Keori Co., Ltd. Sales begin overseas as well as in Japan.

April 1992

Techno Roll concludes a technical licensing agreement with SAM HWA Ind. Co. Ltd. of Korea, and they start to manufacture and sell “TRUST UV” in Korea.

September 1993

Techno Roll develops and markets the hickey removing rollers “Hickey Sweeper W” and “Hickey Sweeper S” for use in offset printing.

April 1995

Techno Roll increases in capital to 25 million yen and the technical department staff begins to use personal computers and CAD for enriching and speeding up design work.

May 1996

Develop Total ink control and supply system “TICASS” and start to install it in Can-printing machine.

April 1997

Techno Roll concludes a technical licensing agreement with Brissett Rollers Pty. Ltd. of Australia, and they start to manufacture and sell “TRUST UV” in Australia.

December 1997

Techno Roll concludes a technical licensing agreement with Hammerking Rollers Ltd. of New Zealand, and they start to manufacture and sell “TRUST UV” in New Zealand.

September 1998

Techno Roll concludes a technical licensing agreement with Yi Tsai Enterprise Co.,Ltd. of Taiwan, and they start to manufacture and sell “TRUST UV” in Taiwan.

April 2000

Techno Roll relocates to Techno-Stage (current head office), Izumi City, Osaka. (site area: 2740m2, floor area: 1800 m2)

June 2001

Techno Roll established its Tokyo west-sales-office in Sumida Ward, Tokyo.

October 2001

Techno Roll concludes a technical licensing agreement with Shanghai SBJ Roller Co.,Ltd. of China, and they start to manufacture and sell “TRUST roller” in China from April 2002. Techno Roll concludes a 15% investment in Shanghai SBJ Roller.

April 2002

Techno Roll concludes a technical licensing agreement with Westland Gummiwerke GmbH & Co., KG. of Germany, and begins exclusive manufacture and sale of the special rubber roller “WERO series” in Japan.

April 2003

Techno Roll obtains the ISO 9001 certification (Year 2000 version) [registration number JQA-QM9848]

April 2004

Completion of 2nd factory (site area: 2038m2, floor area: 1216 m2)

September 2004

Techno Roll relocates the Tokyo branch to Sayama City, Saitama, to expand business.

November 2004

Techno Roll receives the “Osaka Frontier Award” for most successful company in management innovation with frontier spirit of the year by local government.

October 2005

Techno Roll renames Tokyo west-sales-office to Tokyo branch and Tokyo branch to Saitama branch.

Techno Roll starts roller exchange business.
Techno Roll obtains the ISO 14001 certification (Year 2004 version) [registration number JQA-EM5066]

February 2006

Techno Roll concludes a technical licensing agreement with Bangkok Roller Co., Ltd. of Thailand, and they start to manufacture and sell “TRUST roller” in Thailand.

Techno Roll relocates the Tokyo branch to Daito Ward, Tokyo, to expand business.

November 2007

Techno Roll concludes a technical licensing agreement with PT Zentrum Graphics Asia of Indonesia.

December 2007

Techno Roll concludes a technical licensing agreement with Graphic Printing Roller Co., Ltd. of Canada, and they start to manufacture and sell “TRUST roller” in Canada and North America.

November 2008

Techno Roll concludes a technical licensing agreement with Westland Gummiwerke GmbH & Co., KG. of Germany, and they start to manufacture and sell “TRUST roller” within the EU.

April 2009

Techno Roll concludes a technical licensing agreement with MSL Rubber Industries Sdn. Bhd. of Malaysia, and they start to manufacture and sell “TRUST roller” in Malaysia.
